8-13-2007-Griffin's first day of school at Cassidy Elementry. He started first grade with Ms. Mott. He has changed schools because we moved, so it was like starting all over for him, but he did a great job and seems to really be liking his new school.

We rode our bikes to school and walked him in the class. He seemed to enjoy it except for the ride home because he was really tired!!

Fall Soccer-Griffin

LYSA-Fall 2007-"The Bombers"-9-30-2007-Griffin playing goalie for his soccer team.

If you look really closely to the picture below, you will see that it is Griffin right after he got smacked in the face for the SECOND time in this game. Each time on a different side of his nose and each time it caused a nose bleed from a different side! You can click on the picture to enlarge it.

Watching the Dawgs with Dad

Sept. 22nd, 2007-UGA vs. Bama-Damon is trying to teach Grady to watch football the right way, in your boxers with pizza. Beer of course for the big boys and chocolate milk for the little ones.

Field Trip to Boyd's Orchard with Grady's Class

Today Grady and I went out to Boyd's Orchard with his pre-school class. We went on a hayride, played on their huge slide and picked apples from their apple trees. We also got to eat some yummy apple cider and apple cider doughnuts. They told us today that they have lost 90% of their apples due to the drought and that they lost all of their peaches in the spring due to the late freeze. We had a great time and we were able to go out to eat lunch before we headed home for naptime.
